Takeda Shrine Treasure Hall
Overview
The treasure hall of Takeda Shrine, built on the site of Tsutsuji-ga-saki Castle, the lifelong stronghold of the legendary warlord Takeda Shingen (1521–1573). The collection includes swords associated with Shingen, the famous 'Furinkazan' battle banner, and armor of the Takeda clan. The shrine grounds preserve earthworks, moats, and stone walls from the Sengoku-period castle. Located in Kofu and easily accessible from Tokyo as a day trip via JR Limited Express.
