Osafune Mitsutada

Description

Founder of the Bizen Osafune school. Established the Bizen tradition with flamboyant chōji-midare hamon and grand form. He created a major swordmaking center in Osafune that flourished for centuries. Shokudaikiri Mitsutada is famous as Date Masamune's beloved sword.
