The Date clan: The Date family, rulers of Sendai domain, amassed many fine swords. Date Masamune himself was deeply knowledgeable about blades, owning masterpieces like Shokudaikiri Mitsutada.

The Kunikane lineage: Official Sendai domain smiths known for beautiful jihada. Still highly valued today.

Sendai City Museum: Houses numerous Date clan swords with regular exhibitions — a pilgrimage site for sword enthusiasts.
