Master of the Fukuoka Ichimonji school, considered one of the two greatest alongside Yoshifusa. Excelled in gorgeous chōji-midare hamon with beautiful utsuri on refined jigane. One of the leading smiths representing the peak of mid-Kamakura Bizen swordmaking.
