Rai Kunitsugu

Description

Said to be the son of Rai Kunitoshi. While maintaining his father's Yamashiro dignity, his work reflects the dynamic changes of the late Kamakura period. Particularly fine tantō, some showing Sōshū influence. An important figure in the later Rai school.
