長船長光

Osafune Nagamitsu

Description

Son of Mitsutada who led Bizen Osafune to its zenith. The Daihannya Nagamitsu, named for its appraisal value of 600 kan, is a National Treasure. His gorgeous chōji-midare and refined jigane represent the pinnacle of the Bizen tradition. Many signed works survive, serving as benchmarks for Bizen studies.
