甲府城(舞鶴城)
Kōfu Castle (Maizuru Castle)
Présentation
Kōfu Castle (also called Maizuru Castle) was built around 1592 by a Toyotomi retainer in the heart of the Kōfu Basin — just one kilometer from the site of Takeda Shingen's headquarters at Tsutsujigasaki-kan (now Takeda Shrine). The castle thus stands on the spiritual ground of the Takeda clan, Japan's most celebrated sword-collecting warrior dynasty. Shingen's legendary armor Tatenashi is a National Treasure, and his collection included masterworks like Kamekou Sadamune. The Kōfu region was also the source of Kōshū gold, which financed Shingen's military machine — including the finest swords available in Sengoku Japan. The castle ruins are now Maizuru Castle Park, adjacent to the superb Yamanashi Prefectural Museum.
Lien avec les sabres
Kōfu Castle stands on the heart of Takeda Shingen's domain — making it one of Japan's most important sites for sword culture. Shingen, described in the Kōyō Gunkan military chronicle as a superb sword collector, possessed masterworks including Kamekou Sadamune (by the Sōshū master Sadamune). His clan heirloom armor Tatenashi is a National Treasure preserved at Takeda Shrine. The Kōfu Basin's gold mines (Kōshū kin) funded the Takeda military machine at its peak, including the procurement of the finest swords of the age. The Yamanashi Prefectural Museum — adjacent to the castle ruins — houses an outstanding collection of Takeda-related swords, armor, and military documents.
