Description
Founder of the Hizen school and one of the greatest shintō-era smiths. Fine ko-nuka hada with elegant suguha. As retained smiths of the Nabeshima clan for nine generations, the Hizen sword became synonymous with shintō blades. First-generation works are particularly prized for their dignity.
