Fukuyama Museum of Art
概要
A municipal art museum located within Fukuyama Castle Park. Bingo Province (eastern Hiroshima) has a long tradition of sword production, and the museum holds materials and works related to Bingo swordsmiths. Exhibitions occasionally feature weapons and swords from the Abe family, lords of the Fukuyama domain. While also known for its Italian art collection, exhibitions on regional warrior culture are noteworthy. Adjacent to Fukuyama Castle, allowing visitors to enjoy both castle and swords.
