Description

One of the two great Osaka shintō smiths who created the revolutionary tōran-ba (billowing wave) hamon. Initially produced suguha but later shifted to the bold tōran-ba, revolutionizing shintō-era aesthetics. Alongside Inoue Shinkai, he represents the pinnacle of Osaka shintō swordmaking.
