Chikuzen Samonji

Description

One of Masamune's Ten Pupils who brought the Sōshū tradition to Kyushu. Founder of the Sa school in Chikuzen province (present-day Fukuoka). Known for brilliant nie-based hamon and refined jigane. The Kōsetsu Samonji is a famous blade from the Kuroda family collection.
