Sōshū-denKotō (Old Swords)Saijōsaku
相州貞宗
Sōshū Sadamune
Description
Son (or adopted son) of Masamune and the most faithful inheritor of the Sōshū tradition. His brilliant jigane and beautiful nie-based hamon carry his father's legacy. Signed works are extremely rare, making attribution challenging, but he is highly regarded as the legitimate successor of Sōshū-den. Particularly fine tantō and wakizashi.
