Mutsu-no-kami Yoshiyuki
Description
Smith of Tosa province (present-day Kōchi). Famous in Bakumatsu history as the sword carried by Sakamoto Ryōma. Served as retained smith of the Yamauchi family. Known for practical workmanship. Ryōma's sword, signed 'Mutsu-no-kami Yoshiyuki,' is preserved at the Kyoto National Museum.
