Osafune Chōgi

Description

A distinguished Osafune smith of the Nanbokuchō period. Active contemporaneously with Kanemitsu, known for work strongly influenced by the Sōshū tradition. Produced many hitatsura (full-temper) works, embodying the fusion of Bizen and Sōshū traditions.
