NARUTO
NARUTO -ナルト-
Features sword elements rooted in Japanese mythology and real blade culture, from the Kusanagi Sword to the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.
Beschreibung
In Masashi Kishimoto's NARUTO, swords rooted in Japanese mythology and history play vital roles. Orochimaru's Kusanagi Sword derives from the Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi (Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi), one of the Three Imperial Regalia of Japan. This legendary blade is said to have emerged from the tail of the eight-headed serpent Yamata no Orochi and is enshrined at Atsuta Shrine. The great blades wielded by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist reinterpret the diverse forms of real Japanese weapons — odachi, naginata, yari — through a shinobi lens. Sasuke's techniques Chidori and Raikiri take their names from the real sword Raikiri, the beloved blade of Tachibana Dosetsu, named for the legend that it cut through lightning. Even within a ninja anime, the history and culture of the Japanese sword runs deep. At DATEKATANA, we offer the authentic blades that are the very source of these myths and legends.
